Wang Chenhuai started to know music at the age of 14. Three years later, he was enrolled in Beijing Contemporary Music Academy.

 

Then in 2008, he got the admission for his specialty by Prince Claus Conservatory in Groningen, the Netherlands and took the degree of jazz. Afterwards, Wang Chenhuai graduated with a full scholarship In 2013 and obtained the master's degree of performance major in Queens College in New York, USA in 2017. During that period, Wang participated in numerous performances, album production and recording in cooperation with celebrated musicians at home and abroad such as Micheal Moore, David Berkman, Erik Truffaz, Don Barden, Mattew Shipp, Ted Nash,etc.
